Peter Goldmark
Peter has run foundations, newspapers, government agencies and nonprofits. He served as a director for the climate and air program at the Environmental Defense Fund; as president of the Rockefeller Foundation; budget director for the State of New York, and chairman and CEO of the International Herald Tribune newspaper. A recipient of multiple awards, Peter has also taught management courses in the public sector and social change areas, published essays, and has continued to mentor promising young leaders.
Michael Leven
Mike has a long record of success in the hospitality business. After serving as president of several hotel chains, he started US Franchise Systems, Inc., which franchised the Microtel Inns & Suites and Hawthorn Suites brands. He served as CEO of the Georgia Aquarium in 2008-09, then became president and COO of Las Vegas Sands Corp. and returned to lead the Georgia Aquarium in 2015. Mike serves on the boards of many charitable groups, including the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas, and the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America.
Marc Morial
Marc’s distinguished career includes a wide variety of roles, from entrepreneur, lawyer and professor to legislator, mayor and, since 2003, president and CEO of the National Urban League, the nation’s largest civil rights organization. As a lawyer in Louisiana, he was awarded the state bar association’s Pro Bono Publico Award for his legal service on behalf of the poor. He later taught constitutional and business law at Xavier University, and was elected to the state Senate. Marc served as mayor of New Orleans from 1994 to 2002, leaving office with a 70 percent approval rating.
Mark Rosenblatt
Mark Rosenblatt, a tech investor and entrepreneur, has been investing in and building companies for more than 25 years. He served as chairman of Violin Memory and of Rationalwave Analytics, and sits on the board of RiverMeadow Software. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A., both from Yale University.
R. James Woolsey
The former director of the Central Intelligence Agency under President Clinton, Jim also serves on several advisory boards for corporate and nonprofit groups. He specializes in energy and security issues. He has held several presidential appointments in both Republican and Democratic administrations.
Sheryl WuDunn
Sheryl, the first Asian-American reporter to win a Pulitzer Prize, currently works at a small banking boutique helping growth companies, including those operating in emerging markets. She co-founded FullSky Capital, an advisory firm focused on socially driven ventures. Previously, Sheryl has been vice president in the investment management division at Goldman, Sachs & Co., and worked at The New York Times as a journalist and an executive.
